Report to Parents- 2019-20

Explorer Parents,

Each year our SIC works in tandem with your school principal, Dr. Bosier to compose our yearly annual report to parents.  Well, this past school year has been quite different, to say the least.  As a result, our report reflects the impact of the challenges that we have faced since the March 2020 school closure. All state-standardized testing was cancelled; thus halting our ability to report testing data from this past year.  The scores you see stem from our Spring 2019 state standardized testing data.  All other data has been updated to reflect the current school year.

Learning Model Selection Due Dates

PRE Parents,

Have you changed your mind or have different needs and would like to make changes to your current Learning Model Selection for your child (face-to-face or virtual learning)?

No worries! Just look below and make sure that you have your written request emailed to Mrs. Debbie Waldrop at dwaldrop@richland2.org on or before the deadlines in the blue column.

We've just completed our annual Winter Days food drive in partnership with Spring Valley High School and what a HUGE success! Many thanks to all of you for all donations....large and small. You helped us to make a positive difference in the lives of those in our community who are less fortunate. 

We are forever grateful!

School resumes:

Monday, January 4th

 

Please note: Students will return virtually ONLY from January 4- 15, 2021

R2 eLearning Days

 

Designated R2 eLearning Days

December 21- 22, 2020

and

January 4-15, 2021

There will be no face to face school attendance on these days. All instruction will take place through the eLearning model. 

Students will follow our normal school day schedule:

School day begins @ 8:30 AM

School day ends @ 2:40 PM
