WATCH D.O.G.S

Thursday September 12th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm we will be having our 1st annual ‘Dads’ Pizza Night at our school. You will meet here at the school cafeteria at 6:00 pm for FREE pizza and drinks.  At 6:30pm we will have a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) ProgramWATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life.  Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears.
Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have a night out alone with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.
In order to participate, you need to do two things:
  1. Fill out this form and return it with your student (ASAP) saying that you will attend the pizza night.  This will allow us to have an accurate head count in planning and purchasing the food.
  2. Mark your calendars and we’ll see you, Thursday September 12th 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Polo Road hosted its annual Winter Arts Festival this past Thursday and it was simply wonderful!  Thank you to all of the students, faculty, and families who helped out and made this evening possible.  All students were able to view the recorded performance today prior to leaving for Winter Break.  Ask your child to share with you something he or she enjoyed about the performance and below check out a few photos from the event.  Polo Road would like to extend a special thank you to our art teacher, Mrs. Floyd-Francis and our music teacher, Mr. Batenhorst for putting together such a fabulous show.  We would also like to thank Mrs. Luqmaan and Mrs. C.
