Holiday Luncheon Help

Polo Road's PTO is in need of volunteers to assist during the upcoming Faculty and Staff Holiday Luncheon.  Volunteers need only give one hour of their time to ensure that this annual event is its usual success.  The luncheon will be held at the school on Thursday, December 14.  Please click on the link above to view the available times and to sign up to help.  Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, and volunteers may even want to schedule this as a day to have lunch with their children while on campus!

School Safety

Greetings Explorer Parents/Families,

Here is some important information regarding school safety. As the data of confirmed school shootings and intruder invasions continue to rise across our nation, we want to ensure that our faculty is trained and ready to act effectively and efficiently in the case of an emergency. To that end, just as we did today, we will continue to have intruder drills on a regular basis in order to sharpen our levels preparedness and timeliness of the appropriate responses.

We also want our students to be prepared to readily respond to safety directives and/or signals given by a member of our faculty and/or staff at any given moment throughout the school day. At home, you can assist us with this by encouraging your child to follow directions the first time given, at all times.

Please do not become alarmed if your child shares that he/she participated in a 'practice' drill at any point during the school year. 

Rest assured that we are constantly reviewing our safety procedures and protocols to ensure that our campus remains as safe and secure, as possible, at all times.
