Below is a list of activities planned for the week...
Light It Up Blue! - All students are encouraged
to wear blue throughout the week Monday - Friday. If a student is
spotted wearing blue, he or she just might receive a small treat or be featured on the school's news show. All
teachers will also have a blue light bulb in use in their classrooms.
Buddy Up Inclusion Activities: Classes
will pair up to participate in 10-15 minute activities designed to be
all inclusive. These activities are intended to serve as the perfect
opportunity to teach tolerance and demonstrate behavior that is
welcoming of all.
Activities include:
- Monday-Buddy up and read
- Tuesday-Buddy up and play a game
- Wednesday-Buddy up and make a craft
- Thursday-Buddy up and parachute
- Friday-Buddy up and have a dance party
We look forward to all Explorers participating in some way and encourage families to ask students to share thoughts and/or lessons learned from the week's planned activities.
