If you have not already done so, please log into Parent Portal to pay the $20 technology insurance fee before October 15, 2020. This insurance fee covers 100% of the repair costs for all first-time instances of accidental damage in one school year. The plan also covers the cost of device replacement in the event of theft, as long as a police report is filed and provided. After October 15th, the option to purchase the insurance will no longer be available and families will be responsible for 100% of the cost of all damage repairs and/or fees associated with theft replacement. All fees are to be paid on Parent Portal and you can access Parent Portal by visiting parents.richland2.org.

Attendance Matters
Students are expected to attend "live" class sessions using Google Meet. Attendance will be taken daily, just as it is when we are in the brick and mortar setting. Students who attend "live" class sessions will be coded as present. If a student does not attend a "live" class session, he/she will be coded as absent.
When a student is not able to attend a "live" class session, he/she will watch the recorded lesson and submit the Daily Participation Assignment (DPA). The student's absence will then be changed to present. The student will also be responsible for completing and submitting all make-up work.
