Red Ribbon Week

Next week is Red Ribbon Week!  There are several planned activities in which we hope your child participates.  We will also be sharing with students throughout the week several facts regarding the importance of living a drug-free life.  See a list of the activities below and don't forget to send your child to school in crazy or mismatched socks on Monday as a gesture of socking it to drugs and staying drug free:

Pathfinder Fitness Challenge

All of Polo Road Elementary and the PTO would like to send a huge "THANK YOU!" to all those that supported this year's Pathfinder Fitness Challenge (PFC)!  Parents and students worked extremely hard this year to garner support for this very worthy cause and we are truly thankful for all efforts!  As a result of the amazing support received from the PRE community, the cumulative total collected for this year's PFC is $11,831.83!  Congratulations are also in order to Ms. Guzman's homeroom!  Her class had the highest total collected; $960!  In exchange for the monetary donations, students at PRE participated in a 30 minute run/walk today in order to promote good health and fitness.
